Report On Workshop On Spectroscopy And Analysing                                                Spectral  Data 

        The AMBY students Bhavya Rekha, Manisha Majji  and        Sr. Joyce Loretta participated in this workshop.

The topic dealt on;

Ultra violet radiations are due to electrical excitations. 

If a particular electronic transition matches the energy of a certain band of Ultraviolet rays it will be absorbed. The remaining U.V light passes through the sample and is observed.

From this residual radiation a spectrum is obtained.
